Help Downloading Documents

If you are having trouble downloading, opening, or printing .pdf or .zip files:

.pdf format
Many of the documents making up the curriculum are in .pdf format. Portable Document Format (PDF) files are printable documents that can not be edited. Unlike Word documents, Pdf files retain original formatting between platforms and computers. To view and print .pdf files, you need to have Acrobat Reader software installed on your computer.

Download Adobe Acrobat Reader (free, and freely distributable):
acrobat reader

.zip format
Most of the course resources are saved as .zip files. Zip files are "archives" used for distributing and storing files. Zip files contain one or more files. Usually the files "archived" in a Zip are compressed to save space. Zip files make it easy to group files and make transporting and copying these files faster. To open a .zip file, you need to have an expanding program such as WinZip (PC) or Stuffit (MAC) installed on your computer.
.
Download WinZip (free, and freely distributable):
winzip
.
Download Stuffit Expander (free, and freely distributable):
